Sharing Information With Your Insurance Company
If you choose to use your insurance and ask us to work with your insurance company, we share the information needed to handle the claim. This may include your name, phone number, email address, the type of glass that is broken, your VIN, and relevant details from your comments.
If you choose to pay out of pocket, we will not contact your insurance company or share information from your quote request with them for that repair or replacement. We do not send these quote-form details to our glass supplier.

Does weather make a difference?
Answer: Yes—installation of glued-in (urethane-set) glass such as windshields, quarter glass, and back glass requires dry weather. It cannot be raining or snowing during installation.
We also prefer temperatures above freezing, even though our urethane adhesive can technically be applied at 0°F or warmer. Working with frozen metal and glass is time-consuming and can affect the quality of the installation.

How Long Does a Windshield Replacement Take?

For most windshield replacements, please allow approximately 3 hours—about 1 hour for the mobile service arrival window and 2 hours for the safe drive time. You can resume normal use of your vehicle after this period (the exact safe drive time will be noted on your receipt).
For side and back tempered glass replacements, please allow roughly 2½ hours in total.
